Haiti From the Beginning
The animation opens up with an image of what Haiti looks like after the earthquake. At this moment peaceful music is playing. Following this, dramatic music starts playing in the background, and a clock is shown with the hands going in reverse clockwise order. Important scenes in the history of Haiti are shown starting from the way Haiti looks after the hurricane and rewinding back to when Haiti was found by Christopher Columbus. It will be sort of an animated timeline which uses a combination of stop-motion graphics and animation, representing historical moments in Haiti's history from the present back to revolution, to slavery and back to Christopher Columbus discovering it.
Throughout the different instances in the timeline, the faces of the people inhabiting the island are shown to help convey the feeling of the time in History. The music becomes louder and more dramatic as controversial moments are shown. A clock will appear on the screen again, with the hands going in clockwise order this time, and all of the footage of Haiti's history quickly fast forwards back to the scene before the earthquake where the people are happy. Text will appear on the screen saying "everyone should have a chance of being happy", "help Haiti reach theirs".
